Overview of TH Farm

TH Farm comprises 3 clusters, 9 farms and fields. This is the starting point of a closed, circular production chain, from growing raw materials, raising dairy cows and producing fresh milk. Thanks to optimal breeding, care and nutrition programs, TH Farm’s dairy cows achieve the highest milk yield in Vietnam and Southeast Asia: On average during peak season, it reaches 35 liters/cow/day, equivalent to nearly 11,000 liters/cow/305-day cycle.

The world’s leading modern technologies applied at the Farm include: Amiad water filtration technology (Israel), Dairy herd management through the Afifarm software system (Israel), Disease management and veterinary procedures from New Zealand.

Software systems for controlling feed mixing, feed ration formulas (1-ONE, NDS), water and wastewater treatment processes and equipment from Japan, Israel, Netherlands…

Regarding dairy herd management technology: Dairy cows are chip-equipped and managed using computer software (estrus management, warning and detection of mastitis up to 4 days in advance, cow classification, reproduction, milk yield and quality…); Automated milking system – Closed – Computerized – Ensuring optimal milk quality control; Strict disease prevention and biosecurity procedures for cows help minimize disease; Cows are bathed and listen to music…

In 2020, TH Farm achieved the record for the largest concentrated high-tech farm cluster with a closed production process in the world, recognized by the World Records Organization. TH still holds this record to this day

Dairy Farming and Milk Processing Project Industrial scale project in Yen My commune, Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa province

The high-tech dairy farming and milk processing project of TH Group in Thanh Hoa has a total investment of 3,800billion VND, with a dairy farming scale of 20,000 cows. Nearly 165 hectares of project area are allocated for the construction of farms and important facilities such as a milking center, a feed processing plant, a clean water and wastewater treatment area, a dairy cow hospital… The area for the green feed raw material zone is 735 hectares.

In addition to farmland, TH Group plans to cooperate with local people to build feed raw material zones for dairy cows (corn, grass) to replace less efficient agricultural land. TH’s dairy farming project is creating direct and indirect jobs for tens of thousands of workers in the project area. The expansion to accommodate imported dairy cows, raise and produce milk in Yen My is also part of TH’s expansion strategy at farms nationwide without having to go through the Nghia Dan farm, helping to save costs, manpower and improve business efficiency.

In June 2024, TH Yen My produced its first high-quality fresh milk products.

TH Yen My has invested in and equipped itself with the most modern technologies to ensure optimal care conditions for high-yielding dairy cows. The water management process uses modern technology from Germany, ensuring clean and safe water for the herd. The cooling fan system for cows has higher capacity, optimizing the living conditions for the herd in the tropical environment of Vietnam.

The barn design at Yen My has also been improved compared to previous farms, with a longer and narrower structure, optimizing light and air circulation, creating ideal conditions for the health and milk production of the herd.

TH Fresh Milk Processing Plant

The Fresh Milk Plant is a crucial link in TH’s circular value chain from green pastures to a clean glass of milk. This leading large-scale fresh milk processing plant in Southeast Asia currently possesses world-class production lines and technology, responsible for processing and packaging fresh milk and dairy products.

Thanks to high technology, TH products can maintain nutrition and fresh flavor for 6 months, without preservatives, better for consumer health.

• Modern cold storage system: including the Mega warehouse system built on an area of ​​over 2 hectares and Mega 2 warehouse inaugurated at the end of 2022, with an area of ​​8,500 m2, applying advanced technologies from the world.

High-Tech Storage Warehouse

TH’s largest high-tech storage warehouse is located in Nghia Dan (Nghe An). The warehouse is a combination of Mega Warehouse 1 and Mega Warehouse 2 with a total operating area of ​​up to 20,000 m2, with 20 loading/unloading gates operating simultaneously 24/7. The warehouse has a capacity of over 20,000 pallets, with normal, cold and frozen storage conditions for all TH products. The total maximum cargo volume at the gates can reach 5,000 tons/day.

The warehouse is built with high-quality construction, applying advanced technologies from around the world, minimizing operational risks, optimizing efficiency, with the goal of delivering goods as quickly and accurately as possible to the final destinations in the operational plan.

In addition to using modern support machinery such as semi-automatic robots, trolleys, forklifts, storage racks, refrigeration equipment, etc., to save manpower, optimize operating time and costs, and ensure safety, TH’s warehouse is implementing a WMS (Warehouse Management System). The WMS system is the most modern specialized system in the world, specifically designed for large-capacity warehouses. With this system, TH Group can identify and manage details down to each pallet of goods, easily controlling down to the individual level such as the number of product boxes, product type, and even individual products within a box. In addition to the above advantages, the WMS warehouse management system also has an intelligent processor that automatically calculates and provides strategic suggestions for arranging and allocating goods in the warehouse to optimize travel distance and optimize space for pallet arrangement.

Dong Hieu High-Tech Agricultural Farm

The high-tech agricultural farms in Dong Hieu – Nghia Dan of the TH Group are equipped with a modern Pivot irrigation system, a technology most widely used by leading farms worldwide using agricultural mechanization industry.

For areas with red basalt soil and hot, dry summers like Nghia Dan, Nghe An, this irrigation system is key to enabling TH to achieve high yields and stable quality in growing corn, grass, etc. actively. Irrigation water is controlled according to the needs of the crops at each growth stage, suitable for the weather conditions at different times. The system ensures the correct amount of water that the crops need based on modern sensors from Israel (Mottes), the USA (Hobolink) and Australia (FieldNET). Managers control the system through software, smart applications (apps) as well as SMS messages.

TH Organic Farm

TH Group’s cows are raised in a clean environment; they sunbathe and listen to music; they eat feed sources that meet the organic standards of Europe and America…

The “4 No – 1 Good” Standard
With the motto “For public health” – the first core value that TH true Milk products aim for, TH Farm has started producing organic fresh milk meeting European and American standards since 2000 2015. This is a step forward in the process towards safe, environmentally friendly products.

Currently, TH Organic Dairy Farm is the first and only farm in Vietnam to convert livestock raised in Vietnam to organic livestock farming on Vietnamese soil (minimum conversion time is 6 months as required by the standard).

Organic livestock farming at TH Organic Dairy Farm is applied according to strict European and Vietnamese standards, assessed by third parties Control Union (twice a year) and QUACERT (once a year) to ensure TH complies with the standards.

The organic dairy cows here are raised according to the European organic standard “4 no – 1 good”. That is: no pesticide and synthetic fertilizer residues; no growth hormones; no antibiotics; no genetically modified ingredients. (Non-GMO); good veterinary care helps animals stay healthy and achieve high productivity
