In addition, Russia has a long cold winter unfavorable for livestock in general and dairy farming in particular. Does TH Group have measured the feasibility of the project?

Through news reports in the newspaper, Ms. Thai Huong said Russia was embargoed, of which Russia is the largest import market for milk from Europe, accounting for 50% of the European market. Embargo, which means the demand for milk of large people, is not met.

In this situation, President TH Group considers that this is the time to accompany the Russian people to solve food issues – one of the top issues to maintain social security.

On the other hand, Russia has a large area of ​​agricultural land that is abandoned or has not been effectively exploited in the area around Moscow province.

In addition, the investment incentive policies of the Governments of the two countries, the support and facilitation of the Moscow government on capital, land, investment conditions … are very favorable.

Mr. Dmitriy Alexandrovic Stepanenko – Minister of Agriculture and Food of Moscow also said that Moscow has a policy of direct tax support for milk production with 3 rubles per liter of milk.

These advantages will enable TH Group to bring the world’s most advanced technology, machinery, equipment and techniques into the production of fresh milk agriculture – clean vegetables – clean medicinal herbs on a large scale, contributing to Efficient exploitation of Russia’s agricultural land potential.

Regarding the obstacles of harsh winter and snow, Ms. Thai Huong said that, unlike other dairy projects, TH Group’s concentrated dairy and dairy processing project will apply high technology.

The project farm uses the most modern breeding systems in the world, imported from developed breeding farms such as Afimilk (Israel), GEA (Germany), Delaval (Sweden), BouMatic (USA). These are corporations that provide all the solutions for technology, barn equipment, milking equipment management, … in dairy farming and are applied in most dairy farms. on the world.

Determined to bring clean milk to Russia

The visit to Russia with good emotional impressions and necessary and sufficient conditions made the head of TH Group make a historic investment decision.

This is a historical investment project because the first time a dairy company in Vietnam in particular and an enterprise investing in the agricultural sector dared to spend up to VND 50,000 billion to invest in a cow raising project. and milk processing in Russia.

In the past as well as today, Vietnam is mostly known for its role as a beneficiary of foreign investment, including investment from Russian enterprises. The field of investment cooperation between Russia and Vietnam is mainly petroleum and mining.

Therefore, with the TH Group’s giant project, Russian businesses will have a different view of Vietnamese businesses, especially when looking at the scale of the TH Group project.

Specifically, the Project of Clean Fresh Milk in Russia is managed by TH Group for 10 years, from 2015 to 2025. When completing the Project, the total number of cows is expected to reach 350,000 heads, the total milk processing capacity is 5,900 tons / day, equivalent to nearly 1,800,000 tons / year, total area of ​​concentrated material areas is 140,000 ha.

Right from 2017, the first phase of the project will be deployed to build 9 farm clusters with a total area of ​​26,400 ha. By design, each cluster has its own farm area that comes with a food processing cluster.

The total number of cows when completing the project in phase 1 is 45,000, including 21,600 milking cows. Along with that is the construction of a factory.

According to statistics of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food in Moscow, there are 103,600 dairy cows in the whole region, with 640,000 tons of milk output. When TH Milk Project is put into operation, Moscow will get closer to the overall goal of providing one million tons of milk per year by 2020.

However, not stopping there, Ms. Thai Huong affirmed: “We make clean fresh milk from the farm to the table, from growing grass to raise milk, processing milk and distributing to consumers. In the framework of cooperation today we do phase 1, but the project will last 10 years. Phase 1 will invest in divergence, until 2017 there will be milk. Total investment is 500 million USD. ”

In addition to ensuring milk supply, the Project also provides social security for the Moscow region. It is expected that at the end of phase 1 with 45,000 cows, processing 150,000 tons of milk per year. All of these activities will create about 1,000 jobs for local residents.

Prior to the benefits of the TH Group Project, Governor Andrei Vorobyov Iu himself emphasized: We will provide 20% of the cost from the provincial and state budget to directly support TH. We hope that the project will soon be profitable because the business will not succeed without profit.

According to the roadmap, the land for the Project will be handed over in February 2016 and the first bricks of the farm will be laid down in April 2016.
